Having photographed the the co-created charcoal drawing Residuals #1, I introduced colour into these images by tinting them.
Colouring
I photocopied the black and white photographs of the charcoal drawing Residuals #1 which further reduced their tonal range. Details in the photographs became lost.
I draw with my colour pencils to the paper surface of the photocopies, introducing coloured areas, blending the colours, making new textures and marks while at the Beckley Art Group on 16 February.
